Edith L. (Richardson) Lee

Of Everett, age 89, departed this life on December 1st. Beloved wife of James Lee for 70 years. Loving mother of Eric Lee and his wife Cheryl, Greg Lee and his wife Gloria, Sheila Lee-Caldwell and husband Henry, Mark Lee and his wife Tracey, and the late Steven Lee of Malden. Also survived by 21 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. She was predeceased by 10 siblings.

A lifelong resident of Everett, a city that she loved dearly, and grew up on Oliver Street and eventually moving to Harvard Street where she raised her children. Edith was a faithful member of Zion Church Ministries, where she received her Christian foundation at a very young age. At Zion, she served on many boards and committees as a Trustee, Missionary, Choir member, Pastor’s Aide member and truly believed in being a good Usher….always greeting visitors with a “smile”.

A Homegoing Memorial Services will be held at Zion Church Ministries, 757 Broadway, Everett on Tuesday, December 10th beginning at 11:00am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited.
