Anthony Henry Pantaliere, age 86, of Punta Gorda, Florida, formerly of Winthrop, MA, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family on September 20, 2024.
Anthony was born on July 29, 1938, in Boston, MA. He was raised in the North End of Boston where he attended the Elliot Street School, followed by Boston English in Dorchester and went on to earn his GED. After obtaining his GED, he was a proud service member of the United States Army from 1962 to 1964 during the Vietnam Era. After his Honorable Discharge from the Army, Anthony attended Bunker Hill Community College and earned his Associate’s Degree in Liberal Arts.
In, 1955, he met the love of his life, Judith at a Malden High School dance. They were married in 1960 and went on to have three daughters and enjoy a beautiful life together for 64 years.
Anthony was the beloved husband of Judith (Cullen) Pantaliere. He was a loving father to his children: Andrea Meola and her husband Tony of Chatham, Susan Pantaliere of Revere and Joanne Cipriano and her husband Derek of Saugus.
Anthony was a proud Papa to Joseph Meola and his wife Morgan of Winthrop, Isabella Cipriano and Andrew Cipriano of Saugus and Sophia Aguilar of Revere. He was the adored brother of Richard Pantaliere and his wife Sally (Drinkwater) Pantaliere of California, and his sister Carol (Pantaliere) Testa and her late husband Eugene of Revere and uncle to many nieces and nephews. Anthony was predeceased by his mother, Elena and his father Salvatore, and his cousin Henry Ligouri.
Anthony was very proud of his North End heritage. He often reminisced about his time as a caddy at the Maplewood Caddy Camp in Bethlehem, New Hampshire. Anthony was a music enthusiast and had acquired quite the collection of music memorabilia, which he proudly displayed in his Sha-boom Room in Winthrop.
Anthony had many lifelong friends from all over, including, the North End, his Army buddies, Everett, Winthrop, Boynton Beach and Punta Gorda, Florida, that he loved dearly.
