Carmine LaRocca Obituary

Carmine LaRocca of Raymond, New Hampshire, passed away surrounded by the love of his family and friends. He leaves behind a legacy of devotion, hard work, friendship, and family that will be cherished by all who knew him.

Carmine was born in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and spent most of his childhood and formative years in Malden, Massachusetts, where he attended school. The values he developed during those early years—dedication, loyalty, humor and kindness—remained with him throughout his life.

He devoted the majority of his professional career to the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where he served as a supervisor overseeing in-house maintenance personnel and subcontractors responsible for the dormitory system of buildings. He was respected for his leadership, strong work ethic, and commitment to maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for students and staff alike.

Carmine was predeceased by his beloved wife, Maria LaRocca (née D'Alleva), with whom he shared 54 years of love and companionship. He is survived by his devoted partner, Janice Cardwell, who brought joy and friendship to his later years.

He was a proud and loving father to his son, Christian LaRocca, and daughter-in-law, Ellen LaRocca, of Barrington, New Hampshire, and to his daughter, Michelle Drew, of Raymond, New Hampshire. He was also a cherished brother to his sister, Anna DiMaria, of Hudson, New Hampshire, the late Peter LaRocca of Cambridge, Massachusetts and the late Charles LaRocca of Boston, Massachusetts.

Nothing brought Carmine greater happiness than his family. He leaves behind four beloved grandchildren, Samantha LaRocca, Dylan LaRocca, Zachary Amico, and Carly Amico, as well as his treasured great-granddaughter, Sophia Amico. He also held a special place in his heart for his many nieces and nephews, whose lives were enriched by his love, humor, and guidance.

Known for his warm personality and generous spirit, Carmine was a friend to many. He had a remarkable ability to connect with people, and his kindness, wisdom, and sense of humor left lasting impressions on everyone fortunate enough to know him.

Carmine's memory will live on through the family he loved, the friendships he nurtured, and the countless lives he touched throughout his years. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
