David J. Rocco
Of Everett, passed away peacefully at home on June 3, 2021. Loving son of Theresa Rocco (Kovacs) and Frank Rocco. Loving father of Melissa Burchfield (Rocco) and her husband Stephen Burchfield, “the good looking son-in-law” of TN. Brother of John and his wife Connie Rocco of Belmont, sister of Jean Russo (Rocco) and her husband Eddie Russo of Everett and the late Frank Rocco. Cherished uncle of Amy Rocco of Belmont, Andy and his wife Gina Rocco of Washington, DC., Michael Russo of Everett. Great-Uncle of Ben & Jake Orlando both of Belmont, and AJ & Jacqueline both of Washington, DC. Devoted former husband of Sandra McGonagle (Badeau) and her family Brian McGonagle, Sara Soper Stevens, James Soper-Stevens, and Scarlett Soper-Stevens. Also survived by aunts and uncles, many loving cousins, extended family, and good friends.
David was a retired employee at the same company for the last 35 years as an arc welder at North American Industries. He was the lead singer for the Bow Street Blues Band for 50 years. He also played the piano, bass guitar, and the harmonica. David was a proud member in good standing of the Everett Pathfinders group for the past 13 years. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
Visitation will be held at Salvatore Rocco & Sons Funeral Home, 331 Main Street, Everett, on Friday, June 11th from 3:00 to 7:00 pm. A Prayer Service will immediately follow in the funeral home at 7:00 pm. Interment will be private. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend.
