Deborah A. (Doherty) Bruce

Deborah A. (Doherty) Bruce of Methuen formerly of Everett passed away on June 16, 2023 at Brigham & Women's Hospital. Beloved wife of James Bruce. Loving mother of Samantha and her husband Derek Joyner & Shannon Bruce. Cherished Grandmother of Cayden, Skylar & Noah Joyner. Adored sister of Robert Doherty, Patricia Phelan, Thomas Doherty and Shaun Doherty. Daughter of the late Patricia (Porter) and Robert Doherty. Deborah is also survived by many nieces, nephews, in-laws, good friends & Sasha the Cat. Deborah worked at Boston Medical Center for a total of 41 years. She was tasked with a number of roles throughout the years including Radiography Supervisor, Clinical Coordinator, Breast Sonography Supervisor and Mammography Technologist. She was a fierce friend and beloved mentor to many. Funeral from Salvatore Rocco & Sons Funeral Home, 331 Main Street, Everett on Wednesday, June 21 at 9:00 am. A Funeral Mass will be held in St. Immaculate Conception Church 489 Broadway in Everett at 10:00 am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4:00 to 8:00 pm. Complimentary valet parking Tuesday at the Main Street entrance. Interment in Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.
