Douglas Russell

Douglas Russell of Everett passed peacefully on November 20, 2015.  Beloved husband of the late Ruth (Hughson).  Father of the late Douglas J. and the late Linda M. Agri.  Survived by daughter-in-law Lucille O’Grady.  Beloved grandchildren Colleen and Douglas Jr. both of Everett.  Son of the late Hubert Russell and Emmie (Chard).  Brother to Raymond of Everett, Joseph of Everett, Margaret Babiklan of Everett, and the late Marilyn Barbican, Gladys, and Carol Hamilton.  He was a WWII Veteran.  Went on to become a Business Agent for the Local 7 Ironworkers then a Government Inspector for OSHA.  His grandchildren were his world.  He never missed a sporting event for his grandson or a cheering competition for his granddaughter.  He was under the care of his granddaughter Colleen for the past years.  They shared a very loving bond.  She was the apple of his eye.  He was very dedicated to his family.

Funeral Service from  Salvatore Rocco & Sons Funeral Home on Tuesday, November 24 at 12 PM (Noon).  Visiting hour are prior from 10 to 12.  Interment at Woodlawn Cemetery.
