Edward J. Gilbert

Edward J. Gilbert of Everett, MA passed away on March, 6th, 2021 at the age of 74.

Edward is survived by his wife Christine Gilbert (née Flynn), his son Brian and granddaughter Grace, his daughter Katherine and her husband Thomas, and his brothers Neal and Richard Gilbert.

Edward was a proud veteran of the Vietnam War, and a nurse at The Shriners Hospital for Children for 34 years. In his free time, he would often go on long drives with his camera to photograph whatever scenery struck him at the time. This could be anything from shipyards to snow covered trees. He would say he rarely got the shot he imagined in his head, but he liked to remember the story of where he was when he took it. He will be missed by all who knew him.

The family has chosen a private funeral service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Shriners Hospital for Children or St. Jude.
