Edward Nicholls, 83, of Everett, MA, passed away peacefully on September 2nd, 2025 surrounded by his loving family.
Born on May 30, 1942 in Brookline, MA to parents Richard and Rose (Rando) Nicholls, Eddie lived a warm and joyous life always sporting a smile on his face. He proudly served our country in the United States Air Force, serving from 1963 to 1967. He later went on to work for the United States Postal Service as a delivery driver for many years.
Eddie lived his life fiercely dedicated to his family. He could be seen at every sporting event, extracurricular, or family gathering taking hundreds of photos of his loved ones. He was fondly known as the “Papa-razzi” by his grandchildren. Eddie was also known for his notorious magic tricks he performed for children at family events. He also loved to whip up pancakes and waffles for his grandchildren during weekend sleepovers. He will be forever remembered for his kindness, loving heart, and generosity.
He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years Barbara Nicholls, daughter Dawn Marie Hogan and her husband Sean Hogan, daughter Lori Foley, five grandchildren Jake, Kyle, Paige, Grace and Allison, and countless other close family and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Spinelli’s in Peabody on September 27th, 2025. RSVPs can be made online via invites sent out by the family.
