Francis G. “Skip” Fournier

Of Everett entered eternal life on June 1, 2021 at Massachusetts General Hospital. Beloved husband of Marilyn “Mal” (Monterose). Brother of Peggy Kelley of Wareham and Janice Gazza of Revere. Also survived by many brothers, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews. He will be missed by his wonderful neighborhood friends and his “little buddy” Christopher. Skip was predeceased by his parents Myrtle and Lucien and his brother Norman.

Skip served as a Sergeant in the U.S. Army from 1968 until his honorable discharge in 1971. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War receiving many medals for his service. Skip was retired from Rita’s Catering and from the Espousal Retreat Center in Waltham where he worked as the head chef.

Skip enjoyed gardening, cooking, Pogo and all things electronic. He loved his walks through the neighborhood with buddy, Christopher, and meeting up with his many friends at the local convenience store.

All Funeral Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of your choice or a local food pantry.
