Giovanni Marzullo of Everett passed away unexpectedly on October 20, 2021, at the age of 88. Born April 4, 1933, in San Marco, Italy, he was the adored son of the late Nicola and Donata (Cocca) Marzullo.
Giovanni grew up in Italy and in 1977 at the age of 44 moved to Everett, MA with his family. Throughout his life, he was self-employed working in construction, and he was always just a call away to help a relative or a friend with any project or whatever else they needed. In his free time, he enjoyed watching sports and spending time with family and friends.
Giovanni was the beloved husband of the late Rosa (Marino) Marzullo of 51 years. Cherished and loving father of Loretta Pilla and her husband Tony, Nicolina (Nikki) Gillespie, and her husband Craig. Adored Grandfather of Alexandria Kruzer and her husband Marc, Nicolas, and Julia Pilla, and Matthew, Alex, and Daniella Gillespie. The dear brother to the late Antonio Marzullo, Giuseppina Gagliardi and Didorina Tremonte. Giovanni is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and nephews whom he deeply cherished both in Italy and United States, especially Angela and Joe.
Giovanni also devoted the last 15 years of his life helping many people who had come to the US seeking a better life, particularly Bryan Huezo whom he cared for as if he were his own son. Giovanni will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all whose life he touched.
