James J. Morse

James “Jimmy” Morse

Lifelong resident of Medford, age 71 on December 28th. He passed peacefully after a three year battle with dementia. Loving father of Hope Savage and her husband Ronald of Everett, Sharilynn Pynn and her husband Keith of Burlington, and Jamie Morse of Revere. Son of the late William and Josephine (Carideo). Also survived by nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren. He served as a lieutenant on the Medford Fire Department from 1978-1986 when he retired. He was an active member of the Knights of Columbus and the St. Joseph’s Church of Medford. He enjoyed traveling, exercising, and eating at his favorite local restaurants. 

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic the family has chosen a private funeral service for the safety and protection of those who loved him. Please omit flowers, donations may be made in memory of Mr. Morse to Ella's Army Inc., 3 Joyce Road, Peabody, MA  01960.
