John S. Moncrief

John S. Moncrief, age 88, of Everett Massachusetts, passed away at his home on Thursday, October 10th, 2024.
John was born in Brockton on January 31, 1936, son of the late John Wilfred Moncrief and Lyndell (Sylvester) Moncrief.
John was employed with the City of Woburn as a valued Custodian for the Woburn Public Schools up until his retirement, where he established many friendships with those who will fondly remember him.
As an established author and talented writer, John's cherished legacy was his novel titled "Lessons", that he published in 2013. He was a collector of books who loved to read during his free time, and enjoyed running in his younger years.
John will be remembered as a kind, selfless, talented, and generous man by all of those who had the honor of knowing him.
As per John's request, a public memorial service will not be held.
