John A. Pomer of Everett on September 11, 2021. Beloved husband of 65 ½ years to Jean (Varga) Pomer. Loving father of John & Jeanne, Michael & Joanne, Stephen & Carolyn & Vincent & Tammy. Adored Grandfather John, Jessica, Vincent, Emily, Michael, Eric, Amanda, Nicholas, Lauren. Great-grandfather of Gianna & Aubree. Brother of the late Lorraine Toomey & Maryann Cook. John is also survived by many nieces,nephews & good friends.  Mr. Pomer was the City of Everett’s plumbing inspector for 33 yrs. He attended Franklin Institute & Salem State; he also taught at Lynn Vocational Technical School,North East Vocational School. Funeral from Salvatore Rocco & Sons Funeral Home, 331 Main Street, Everett on Saturday, September  18 at 9:00 am. A Funeral Mass will be held in Immaculate Conception Church in Everett at 10:00 am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 4:00 to 7:00 pm. Complimentary valet parking Friday at Main Street entrance. Interment in Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.
