John Marchese, 81, formerly of Chelsea, passed suddenly in his sleep on August 28 at his home on Beaver Lake in Derry, NH. Born in Chelsea on July 29, 1942, to the late Eleanor and Michael Marchese, he was a 1960 graduate of Chelsea High School.

He is survived by his sister, Lorraine Bruno, of Chelsea, his daughter Amy Anthony and son-in law, David Anthony, of Nyack, NY, his daughter Tara Marchese, of Glendale, AZ, and his son Matthew Marchese, of Delhi, NY. He is survived also by two grandchildren, Jackson and Sophie, and his beloved nieces Stacey Bruno and fiancé Edward “Fitzy” Fitzgerald of East Boston, and Tracey Bruno of Chelsea.
