Joseph E. DiBona Jr.

Joseph Edward DiBona

Joseph was the biological son of the late Jean Mary and Joseph E. DiBona. He was raised and loved from infancy by Herbert and Ferol Scribner of Reading formerly of Everett. He was the beloved partner of the late Richard Ranese of East Boston.

Joseph was a 1956 graduate of Reading High School and a 1982 graduate of Boston State College. He worked for many years at the Massachusetts State House and retired from the City of Boston. Joseph loved to travel and enjoyed his many visits to Provincetown, New Brunswick Canada,Hawaii and California. He especially loved Cape Cod and East Falmouth where he spent many happy years with his sister-in-law, Phyllis Scribner. Joseph was devoted to his pet poodles Lisa,Gidget,Beth-Ann,Robyn and Tara.

Joseph is survived by many nieces and nephews and their families.

Services are private.
