Katherine L. “Kay” (Sclafani) Valeri

Of Malden, passed away peacefully on January 28. Beloved wife of Deacon Frank Valeri for 65 years. Devoted mother of Peter and his wife Kathie and Paul and his wife Barbara. Dear grandmother to Jonathan, Peter, Katie Ann, Patrick and Laura. Kay was the daughter of the late Gus and Lucy Sclafani and sister to Michael “Mickey” and Charles. 

Kay was a charter member of the “Unique Club”. She will be remembered for her kind heart and devotion to her family. 

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic the family has chosen a private visitation at the funeral home for the safety and protection of those who loved her. Relatives and friends are invited to a Funeral Mass at Most Blessed Sacrament Church in Wakefield at 11:00 am. Interment will be Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.
