Lorraine Bruce

Lorraine Bruce 95, formerly of Everett passed away peacefully at her home in Saugus, MA.

She was born on November 26, 1928 in Fitchburg Ma. to the late Arthur Le Blanc and the late Octavia Cormier.  She graduated from Everett High School in 1947, and went to work at John Hancock Insurance Company.  Lorraine married Edward Bruce on August 26, 1950, and together they had 4 Children.

Lorraine is survived by her loving son Stephen Bruce of Everett and his wife Linda; her daughter Nancy Easson of Saugus and her husband William; her son James Bruce of Methuen and his late wife Deborah; and her late son Robert Bruce of Methuen and his surviving wife Susan.  Lorraine is also survived by her 9 grandchildren and her 12 great-grandchildren. 

Lorraine lost the love of her life Edward Bruce on March 23, 1999. After his death, her children gathered her up and included her on every holiday, birthday party, and any special events, and they had lots of vacation trips with her.

Lorraine had a love for reading. She loved books and magazines, but her favorite was the Boston Globe Newspaper. Every day she would read it from the first page to the last page, and then go back to do the Suduko and the Crossword puzzles.

Lorraine will be dearly missed by all of her family and friends. May she Rest in Peace

Funeral from the Salvatore Rocco & Sons Funeral Home Wednesday, October 2nd, 2024 at 10:00am at Immaculate Conception Church, Holy Cross Cemetery following. Visiting hours will be Tuesday, October 1st at 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Valet parking
