Lorraine D. (Hogan) Guarino

Lorraine (Hogan) Guarino, 95 of Wakefield, formerly of Everett passed peacefully at her home,February 1st. She was the beloved wife of the late Edwin B. Guarino Sr, and loving mother of the late Edwin B. Guarino Jr., of Montara CA, Laurel (Guarino) Hickey and her husband Steve,of Wakefield, Neil Guarino and his wife Doreen (Landry) of Billerica. She was the cherished grandmother of Peter Guarino and his wife Rosa (Ciampaglia) of Peabody, Regina Garnett and her partner Derek Christensen of Boston and Alexander Guarino of Billerica, She is survived by her son-in-law Les Shinozawa of Montara,CA., her great grandchildren, Daniel,Riley and Emmett. Lorraine was a secretary in the Everett Public Schools for many years. She was also a member of the Ladies Elks, and served on the Board of Trustees for the Everett Memorial Library. Lorraine’s greatest joy was being with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren of whom she was so proud. They always made her smile and they adored her. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. A funeral Mass Will be held at the Immaculate Conception Church in Everett on Tuesday February 8th at 10am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers donation can be made to Compassionate Care Hospice, 800 West Cummings Park, Woburn,MA 01801.
