Marie T. (McLaughlin) Smith of Weymouth formerly of Dorchester passed away peacefully on July 28, 2024. Beloved wife of the late Chester W. Smith. Loving Mother of Paul Smith of Parker,Co., Janet Hamele and her husband Troy of Amherst, NH.,Mark Smith and his wife Dina of Wilmington, Lawrence Smith and his wife Cheryl of Arlington and Gregory Smith of South Boston. Adored grandmother of Kimberly, James, Meghan, Casey, Brian, Brittany, Lauren, Craig, Dakota, Dayton, Dawson, Jacqueline And Karina. Great-grandmother of nine. Cherished daughter of the late Mary F. (Lane) and Daniel McLaughlin. Sister of the late Danny McLaughlin and his wife Shirley of San Diego,CA. Marie is also survived by many nieces, nephews and good friends. Funeral from Salvatore Rocco & Sons Funeral Home, 331 Main Street, Everett on Friday, August 2nd at 9:00 am. A Funeral Mass will be held in Immaculate Conception  Church 489 Broadway in Everett at 10:00 am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Thursday from 4:00 to 7:00 pm. Complimentary valet parking Thursday at the Main Street entrance. Interment in Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.
