Marilyn Mayfred (McGann) Gordon, 89, of Gilmanton Iron Works, NH, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on April 24, 2025. She was born on September 7, 1935, in Everett, Massachusetts, to the late Helen (Spaulding) and James Gillis. Marilyn was predeceased by her beloved husband, Harry (Wes) Gordon Sr.; her grandson, Harry Gordon III; and her brother, Edward McGann. She is survived by her children: Michel Gordon Noftle, Harry Gordon Jr. and his wife Kim, Robin Spagnuolo and her husband Duane, and Janine Gray. She was a proud grandmother to Amanda Carignan and her husband Michael, Duane Spagnuolo Jr., Janelle Laplante and her husband Corey, Brandon Gordon and his significant other Erin, Brittany Gray and her significant other Sean Mulcahy, Wes Spagnuolo and his significant other Lyle, and Cole Spagnuolo and his fiancé Christina Kelley, and a cherished great-grandmother to Hayden Davis and Chloey Carignan. She also leaves behind many loving cousins and extended family members. Over the course of her life, Marilyn held a variety of jobs, with her final position at the Iron Works Market in Gilmanton Iron Works. She spent her earlier years in Massachusetts before settling at her beloved camp on Crystal Lake, where she spent the last 30 plus years enjoying nature, peace, and family. Marilyn loved traveling with her cousins, snowmobiling, hosting family gatherings, reading, and bird watching from her front porch. She had a special fondness for cooking and baking—and never turned down a plate of Chinese food or a good pickle. Her laugh was contagious and will be remembered fondly by all who knew her. Her warmth, strength, and humor leave an enduring legacy in the hearts of those she touched. She is now reunited with her beloved husband, and while our hearts are heavy, we are comforted knowing they are together again. Services are May 29, 2025 10:00-12:00 at Rocco & Salvatore Funeral Home, 331 Main St., Everett, MA . A Celebration of life will be held on September 7, 2025 1pm-4pm at 37 Weeks Road, Gilmanton, NH
