Nicolette (Savignano) DeFeo, age 96, a resident of Assonet passed away on Wednesday, October 25, 2023. She was the beloved wife of the late Dasco DeFeo with whom she shared 48 years of marriage before his passing in 1994.
She was born in Chelsea and was the daughter of the late Salvatore and Mary (Quarantiello) Savignano. Nicolette grew up in Chelsea and graduated from Chelsea High School. In her youth, Nicolette was a member of many social clubs and volunteered at a variety of charitable organizations. She enjoyed caring for her home and family, cooking, sewing, entertaining friends, hosting family gatherings and attending horse shows. Nicolette adored her grandchildren, great grandchildren and cherish the moments she spent with them and her children.
Nicolette is survived by her children Michael DeFeo and Colette Clark and her husband Thomas; her sister Louise Solomita; her grandchildren Thomas Clark Jr. and his wife Melissa, and Tiffany Moitoso and her husband Matthew; her great-grandchildren Avery Clark, Logan Clark and Mackenzie Moitoso along with many nieces and nephews.In addition to her husband and parents, Nicolette is predeceased by her siblings Fred Savignano, RoseMarie Brandano, Lorraine Magazzu and Maryann Giannasca, and her daughter-in-law Diane DeFeo.
Visiting Hours will be held on Saturday, October 28th from 4pm to 7pm at the CRAPO HATHAWAY FUNERAL HOME, 350 Somerset Ave, TAUNTON and again on Monday, October 30th from 9am to 11am at the SALVATORE ROCCO & SONS FUNERAL HOME, 331 Main St. EVERETT. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 12noon at Immaculate Conception Parish, 489 Broadway EVERETT. Interment in Woodlawn Cemetery, EVERETT.
