Phyllis M. Costa

Phyllis M. Costa passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family and friends, on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, at the age of 82. She was born on September 9, 1943, in Everett MA.

Phyllis was a hardworking and compassionate nurse for 50 years. She truly loved caring for others, treating every patient with kindness and respect, and she formed many lifelong friendships throughout her career. She was the cherished daughter of the late Frank and Pompea Striano, and the beloved sister of the late June Scarpa and Rose Howard. Phyllis was a devoted mother to Lisa Strong, Michele Cwieka, and Marc Costa. She was an adoring grandmother to Sawyer and Olivia Strong, and Gianna and Nicollette Costa, who brought her immense joy. Phyllis will always be remembered for her warm smile, her selfless generosity, and her unwavering dedication to her family, friends, and patients. Her love and compassion will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
