Rita (D'Annibale) Saraceni

Rita Saraceni of Malden, Massachusetts, beloved wife of 52 years of the late Domenico Saraceni, mother of Serafina DiNunzio (husband Nicola DiNunzio), Mirella Saraceni-Smith and the late Serafina Saraceni, grandmother of Rita DiNunzio Tumulty (husband Joseph Tumulty), Liana DiNunzio and Domenic Smith, great-grandmother of Tabitha Tumulty, and sister of Paola, Italia, Clara, Zefferino, and the late Giustinella, Giuseppina, Guido, and Elisa, peacefully departed this life on Wednesday, October 13, 2021, at the age of 87. 

Rita was born in Italy on December 18, 1933 where she lived through WWII. She and her family settled in Malden in 1967. She enjoyed many trips back to Italy to visit her relatives throughout her life. She was an excellent cook and gardener and loved company.  Rita dedicated her life to her family, many friends, and her faith in God. She was loved by so many near and far and will be very dearly missed.

Funeral from Salvatore Rocco & Sons Funeral Home, 331 Main Street, Everett on Tuesday, October 19 at 9:00 am. A Funeral Mass will be held in Immaculate Conception Church in Malden at 10:00 am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Monday from 5:00 to 7:00 pm. Complimentary valet parking Friday at Main Street entrance. Interment in Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.
