Rogério “Roger” Rodrigues Teixeira

Born in Funchal, Madeira, Portugal, Roger was the son of Manuel Rodrigues Teixeira and Arcénia Rodrigues Cova. He grew up in a large family with many siblings. As a teenager, he and his family moved to the United States, where he built a life surrounded by loved ones.

Roger spent 25 years married to his devoted wife, Ângela Maria Damásio Teixeira, sharing a life filled with love and partnership. Known for his generous heart, he was always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need. His sense of humor could light up any room, and those who knew him remember him for his quick wit and warm smile.

Roger had a talent for card games and dominoes, and he loved sharing these pastimes with family and friends. He passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, laughter, compassion, and the joy of simple games well played.
