Steven was born in Cambridge Ma on October 18, 1950. Son of Claudio and Ann Costarelli. Steve spent his early years living in Somerville. Always on the basketball court. . Steve had a big heart and always willing to help people in need. Steve also enjoyed Amateur boxing.

Steve is survived by his sister Nancy Steriti and Jeanette Cataldo and grandchildren Brady and Hazel . Steve was predeceased by his wife Patrica, son Christopher .
