Umberto Luongo

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Umberto Luongo on November 16, 2025 at the age of 74. He peacefully passed at home surrounded by his family.

He was born on September 14, 1951 in Tufo Italy. He married his life long sweetheart Nina Luongo on October 6, 1974. They left Italy in 1974 to come to America and start a family together.

Umberto was a strong and devoted Catholic. He lived a life marked by dedication to his family and faith. He was a joy to be around. He had a positive and joking personality that was contagious. You couldn’t help yourself but to smile and laugh in his presence. He will be totally missed by all.

He is survived by his beloved wife Nina Luongo, his daughter Cristina De Maria and husband Carmine and three grandchildren Chloe, Carmine Jr., and Carlo. He was preceded in death by his son Angelo Luongo and his parents Cristina and Angelo Luongo.
